Southern Hydraulic Cylinder specializes in custom built, rebuildable, welded rod and telescopic cylinders for mobile applications such as automotive recovery, material handling, roadworking, waste collection/removal, excavation, etc.  Because we sell custom built hydraulic cylinders instead of  pushing "off the shelf" cylinders, we are able to offer our customers an almost limitless amount of flexibility with their designs.

We currently produce welded cylinders with bore sizes ranging from 1" to 10" in diameter and strokes up to 144".  We also can accommodate virtually any mount type (cross tube, tang, clevis, trunnion, etc.), valve block, port blocks, etc.

While most of our cylinders are designed for maximum operating pressures of 2500 - 3000 p.s.i., we are capable of manufacturing cylinders with operating pressures of up to 10,000 p.s.i.

Unlike others in the industry, we pride ourselves on relatively quick turn-around times on orders.  Our typical order to ship timing is 4 weeks after drawing approval.
